Whether you’re starting a fresh school year, or starting a fresh ‘New Year’, if you school at home, you know you go through some supplies like water!
Doesn’t matter if you go the Classical route, or unschool…whether you’re an avid unit study scholar, or do the tried-and-true box curriculum…whether you teach everything around the kitchen table, or outsource a subject or two…there are just some supplies that are you simply must have for creating and learning!
I never thought of buying supplies in bulk because we don’t have much storage space at our house, but the bundles offered here make so much sense! Our kids easily go through the contents in them over the course of a year, and they all fit neatly into the 2-drawer file cabinets I bought for them. The other supplies – pens, pencils, index cards, highlighters and Post-it notes – fit easily in the bottom of my own desk, where the kids can get to them when needed.

Treats for the Homeschool Teacher
Ok, maybe it’s weird, but am I the only homeschool mom who appreciates a pretty desk caddy or smiles when I find something to keep my ‘tools’ neat and tidy? This last section offers a few items that can make your life as a teacher just a bit easier. They help keep your often used desk items at hand; provide a neat and handy carrying (and storage) case for the supplies your kids might need while working on a project or craft; and couldn’t you just think of a bunch of uses for tabbed sticky notes?! How neat are those?

So now you know where to go when you’re getting ready to start a new season of schooling, or you’re running out of school supplies. Even though a quick trip to the dollar store might seem more financially frugal, shopping on-line not only saves you gas and time, but you won’t end up walking out with a bunch of stuff you hadn’t intended to buy in the first place! 😉
Drop me a line if you can think of something that’s missing, and we’ll add it here!
