“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” Willaim Butler Yeats
Through an intentional home education approach, we can stop trying to fill a bucket we can’t really fill anyway, and start igniting a fire for learning in our children’s hearts!
Learning happens on so many levels, and establishing a lifestyle of learning enables you AND your kids to enjoy discovery for, well, a lifetime.
And while homeschooling your little ones may be lots of fun and games, homeschooling teens can be just as exciting and rich in its own way. You’ll see the fruits of your labor – and theirs – as they get older, and be able to engage with them in a meaningful way. The stage is set for a brand new time in their lives – and you get a front-row seat!
But I know you’re not “just” a homeschooler – ’cause I’ve been-there-done-that, friend…
I’m Pat! A born-and-bred Yankee who calls the South home…coffee-lover (addict is such a strong word!)…closet classic-rock listener…bibliophile…word-nerd…wife, mother, and Christian – but not necessarily in that order! Reach out – I firmly believe you should know from whom you’re getting your homeschool inspiration. And I’m totally looking forward to getting to know YOU!
Because, friend, someday your homeschooling years WILL come to an end! And despite our best-intentioned plans, we don’t really know when that time will come… (the next class opens August 2021)
Testing decisions…dual enrollment questions…help with transcripts…planning our high-school course of study… Overall, you have been a great help where I have needed encouragement the most!
I am thankful to God for blessing you with such knowledge and expertise in this area, not only helping yourself but extending your help to others as we find ourselves on this very same road.
